ACTIVISTS CHANGING THEIR STORY INTO ANOTHER LIE
I think we have all heard the outrageous lie by the activists of the frostbite at Devore. Well, they were challenged to present proof of this frostbite and they have yet to answer that challenged.

DERRY GRASPING AT STRAWS. HE DOESN'T HAVE MUCH ELSE TO HANG HIS HAT ON.
I really think that Derry is losing it. He calls constituents "liars", he jumps into bed with radical animal rights activists, gun toting mamas blogged about previously here.
Now he thinks he will win the election by making people think he is a nice guy because he cares about animals. BULL. There is no pet vote, Derry. And you've done so much damage while in office, there's no saving you at this point.
Here's the recent piece of Derry's propaganda. I am putting it up so you can see that Derry is taking credit for establishing a non-existent commission. The commission PRESENTATION has been put off to a later date. Is this a big, fat lie from Derry?
Preventing Animal Abuse (What the hell? There's been no proof presented about abuse at Devore, only unfounded accusations, Derry.)
Responding to the concerns of local residents (What local residents? A mere handful, the rest were from other places, not from San Bernardino,some who have never been inside Devore), Neil created (When did this happen? No record of this happening, Derry) a new Citizens Animal Services Commission to monitor conditions at animal shelters and prevent abuse.(Again, where is the proof? After all the investigations, all the efforts by these radical animal rights activists, nothing has come out indicating abuse at Devore.)

Yes, the best we can hope for is a runoff between Josie and one of her opponents. Josie has about a million dollars in her war chest. The others don't have any money. John did pay for a ballot statement which will garner quite a few more votes than normal. The other opponent is also a Hispanic female but no ballot statement. The county deems declined to endorse Josie as did Congressman Baca. Her hometown dem party endorsed her opponent. John will pull all the republican votes and we can only hope the opponent can pull enough dem votes to force a runoff. That will mean she needs to be on good behavior until November, which will give us some breathing room. Also just maybe the FBI will make an arrest or two in the two scandals she is caught up in. She is a suspect in at least one of them.
Mitzelfelt is Neils only ally on the BOS. He is a lame duck as he is running for Congress. He and Neil usually vote together against the other three. Brad's office is offering us a sit-down with us on this but it can't be done without volunteers. While the image of animals curled up on soft blankies is appealing, the reality is that they are often ripped into shreds and ingested by the animals. Blankets are also often the cause of violent fights in which dogs are seriously injured. The Devore shelter, I’m told, also uses a septic pump which can become clogged by pieces of the blankets, causing the animal waste to back up into the kennels.
Denial of emergency room visits from dogs eating blankets only means dogs dying a painful death. Devore isn't staffed 24 hours a day. Those blankets are to stroke the ego of this Smulson, that's all.
The official statistics show that 8 of the 12 shelters serving this county euthanize MORE than the Devore shelter. So, why is Devore being targeted?
That's the question I want answered too, WHY DEVORE?

VICTIM OF A PIT BULL ATTACK BLAMES RESCUES FOR NOT DOING THEIR JOB
I posted about the Maryland Court case that will be breaking the back of "No Kill". Already Maryland shelters are refusing to adopt out pits. This case came about because of a vicious attack on Dominic Solesky by a pit bull.
Dominic's father sees the problem and he is talking about it.
Unfortunately, too many in the "humane" business have failed to turn their attention on the real problem that allows the proliferation of ill-bred pit bulls, many of which end up being maulers: unrestrained pit bull breeders. High courts recognize that human victims of these injurious maulings must have a way to be compensated after a brutal attack.
The dismal failure of "humane" and rescue groups -- both of which have had over 25 years to find a solution to the pit bull problem -- is now going to be exacerbated (more unwanted pit bulls winding up in shelters) due to this ruling. You have your own mismanagement of 25+ years to blame. Finally, due to "humane" groups failing to be honest about this breed's inherent danger, high courts have made this declaration themselves.
And I agree, these "Savior" rescues, as I call them, have ignored the damages being done by their "save them all". Closed casket funerals are a legacy of these rescues. Many pits have mauled and attacked who were adopted out by a "Savior" group. These people don't care about the beloved pets mauled and killed by pits, yet they claim to care about animals. What animals? The ones bred to do one thing and only one thing - to kill? What about all the others?
What about the humans being mauled and killed by pits? Two thirds of the DBRFs are being done by pits. In spite of the gun for hire, Karen Delise, proclaiming her godly powers of being able to get records on attacks when the police won't even release the records to the victims, pits are killing in numbers unlike any other breeds in history.
And these activists at Devore are a part of this group. They don't care about all the people and beloved pets being mauled and killed, they don't even care about the very animals they claim to care about. You don't walk around a shelter with hateful, political signs and expect miracles. They know what they are doing, they know their role in killing the Devore animals, and they don't care.

Only about 20 people showed and probably out of those, only maybe a handful at best were actually county residents.
Can anyone say "BUST", "JOKE", "BALONEY". However, it did mean more pets having to die because that protest caused people to turn away from the shelter. These aren't protesters, these are animal killers disguised as part of the humane community.

Incredible!! This is an elected official and his manner of behavior is that of a hillbilly. I saw elsewhere where he only said one word to a constituent, "Liar". "NO KILL"ACTIVISTS PLAN TO PROTEST DEVORE ANIMAL SHELTER DESPITE POSITIVE LIFESAVING EFFORTS BY DEVORE
The “No-Kill" Activists have launched yet another attack on the County’s Devore Animal Shelter. Even though the County’s animal shelters in Devore, Big Bear Lake and Dogs Day Inn pet boarding facility in Apple Valley ranked # 4 in the County for positive live release outcomes for pets (see below chart) the “activists” have scheduled a protest at the Devore Animal Shelter. Eight other animal shelters in San Bernardino County had higher euthanasia rates last year, but are the “activists” protesting those “High Kill” shelters? No! The eight other shelters “Kill” more animals by percentage than Devore and the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter killed almost twice as many animals than the County’s three shelters combined.
This is a special note to the elected officials in San Bernardino County. No matter how hard you work to save animal lives; No matter how much money you spend to create positive outcomes for animals; the “No-Kill Activists” will still picket and protest your facilities even when you rank # 4 out of twelve shelters that serve the County.
It is obvious the “No-Kill" activists could care less about the number of animals euthanized or killed. If they truly were concerned about high euthanasia or kill rates, they would picket a high kill shelter. The County’s animal shelters are actually below the national average of an estimated 50% euthanasia rate and last year the County’s euthanasia rate was 45.15% for the three shelters they operate or partially manage. It is clear the “activists” only want to see the County’s euthanasia rates increase, this is why they have selected a shelter with one of the lowest euthanasia rates in the County to picket. Run off the adopters and discourage adoptions and you will see the euthanasia rates rise. This is why the “activists” elected to not support the County’s participation in the ASPCA 100K Challenge. They have also elected to not support the County’s 1st Mega Pet Adoption Event. Not one mention of the Homeward Bound Mega Pet Adoption Event is listed on any of the “activist’s” websites. Again, they only want to promote their propaganda and senseless agenda.
We have requested the below public records to forward this summary to all of the local media outlets. Let them try to explain to the reporters why they are after Devore when there so many more deserving shelters for their attention. They have yet to answer the challenge for that answer.
This is a special note to the elected officials in San Bernardino County. No matter how hard you work to save animal lives; No matter how much money you spend to create positive outcomes for animals; the “No-Kill Activists” will still picket and protest your facilities even when you rank # 4 out of twelve shelters that serve the County.
It is obvious the “No-Kill" activists could care less about the number of animals euthanized or killed. If they truly were concerned about high euthanasia or kill rates, they would picket a high kill shelter. The County’s animal shelters are actually below the national average of an estimated 50% euthanasia rate and last year the County’s euthanasia rate was 45.15% for the three shelters they operate or partially manage. It is clear the “activists” only want to see the County’s euthanasia rates increase, this is why they have selected a shelter with one of the lowest euthanasia rates in the County to picket. Run off the adopters and discourage adoptions and you will see the euthanasia rates rise. This is why the “activists” elected to not support the County’s participation in the ASPCA 100K Challenge. They have also elected to not support the County’s 1st Mega Pet Adoption Event. Not one mention of the Homeward Bound Mega Pet Adoption Event is listed on any of the “activist’s” websites. Again, they only want to promote their propaganda and senseless agenda.
