NOW THIS IS A BAD MANAGEMENT AND SHELTERS, TAKE A LESSON

Once again Phyllis Daugherty has hit the nail on the head with her stunning articles on "No Kill". http://devoreshelterfriends.blogspot.com/2012/02/push-to-make-shelters-including-devore.html

This article is about the LA City shelters and the scheme of Brenda Barnette and the Mayor to destroy LA Animal Services. How does this help the animals, more are dying? This is the example of how "No Kill" doesn't care, it is a private agenda, each one personalized by the particular follower. It is distorted and it is harming shelters, their employees, and certainly the animals that end up there.

This is a long and complicated read, Hollywood wishes they could come up with this story.

  1. Just another example of how “No-Kill” is not sustainable regardless of the amount of money invested. LA City has bonded $154 million dollars in an effort to make the City “No-Kill” but they have failed miserably and the $154 million dollar bond debt still needs to be paid by the tax-payers.

As the City starts the process of laying-off workers, reducing the hours of operation at the shelters, and implementing other cost cutting measures, I’m sure their euthanasia numbers will continue to rise.
