CAN ANYONE SPELL HYPOCRITE?

Let's take a look at the hypocritical list that has been posted recently.

1) Adopt- an obvious one, but not everyone can do (WAIT, ACCORDINGLY TO THE MOVEMENT THAT THE ACTIVISTS FOLLOW, THERE ARE PLENTY OF HOMES SO WHY CAN'T EVERYONE DO IT?)

2) Foster- I can hook you up with several amazing rescues that will provide everything, if you can provide the animal love and TLC (MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE FOSTERING FOR THE RIGHT REASONS, NOT JUST SUBSTITUTING ONE KENNEL FOR ANOTHER. FOSTERING IS TO HELP DEVELOP SKILLS FOR ADOPTION, TO HELP RECOVERY FROM SURGERY, NOT TO JUST KEEP THEM ALIVE WHICH IS WHAT MANY OF THESE RESCUES DO.)

3) Donate money to a rescue that saves pets from Devore (we can suggest a few reputable ones! (YES, COLLECTING DONATIONS DOES SEEM TO BE A PRIORITY DOESN'T IT?)

4) Talk to you friends and family about considering adoption and fostering- saves lives! (EVEN I CAN'T ARGUE WITH THIS ONE.)

5) Email, mail, and, call in to the local newspaper groups and TV groups- expose (in a polite, professional way) the horrors these animals face while in a shelter like Devore and how others can help (SO NOW THEY DESTROY ANY GOOD BY CONDEMNING THE SHELTER TO THE PUBLIC, PUSHING AWAY THOSE ADOPTERS. CAN YOU SEE HOW HYPOCRITICAL THIS IS?)

6) Place ads in the newspaper with info on a dog or two (or three) OR cat(s) that need adopted from Devore- you can see who's available on the San Bernadino County site under shelters and then choose "Devore" and search (NOTHING ABOUT COORDINATION WITH THE SHELTER ON THIS. ADVERTISE AND THE ANIMAL IS ALREADY GONE. BUT I SEE THE SCHEME BEHIND THIS IN THAT THEY WANT YOU TO FAIL SO YOU WILL COMPLAIN ALONG WITH THEM. BY THE TIME YOUR AD COMES OUT THE ANIMAL MAY HAVE BEEN EUTHANIZED OR ADOPTED. SO THIS MAKES NO SENSE WITHOUT INCLUDING COOPERATION WITH THE SHELTER.)

7) Go to Devore and take photos of the dogs- post the albums and info on our page and petfinder, and we can spread them like wildfire (AGAIN SETTING YOU FOR FAILURE AND IT IS DELIBERATE, THEY WANT YOU TO BE ANGRY. YOU HAVE TO COORDINATE WITH THE SHELTER, YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE A PICTURE OF ANY OLD PET THERE, PETS ARE CONSIDERED OWNED UNTIL THE END OF THEIR HOLD TIME. YOU CANNOT BE POSTING PICTURES ALL OVER THE PLACE OF SOMEONE ELSE'S PET.)

8) Talk to your neighbors, family and friends about spaying/neutering their own pets- give the facts and be calm and friendly about it (AND MAKE SURE YOU DO THE SAME FOR YOUR PETS!) SPAY AND NEUTER SAVES LIVES. (YOU WON'T GET AN ARGUMENT ON THAT FROM ME. HOWEVER, IF THE ACTIVISTS WOULD CONCENTRATE ON THIS THEN IT WOULD APPLY THAT DEVORE WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO KILL THEM IF THEY AREN'T THERE.)

9) Start a Facebook, Twitter, or Petfinder account that is solely for posting Devore Animals in need-There are a few groups but they cannot cover ALL the pets in need! (IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU WORK WITH THE SHELTER ON ANYTHING LIKE THIS, OTHERWISE YOU ARE SETTING YOURSELF UP FOR FAILURE.)

10) Continue following groups that are doing their best to reform Devore and save the animals in it - you never know when they may call out for help, and you can help! (CONTINUE TO DEMAND RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACTIONS OF THE ACTIVISTS IN THEIR ROLE OF TRYING TO REDUCE ADOPTIONS AT THE DEVORE SHELTER. THIS IS DONE VIA UNFOUNDED ACCUSATIONS, DEMONSTRATIONS, AND WASTING VALUABLE COUNTY TIME WITH PUBLIC RECORDS, ETC. HOW MANY INVESTIGATIONS DO YOU NEED TO SHOW THAT DEVORE IS FAR FROM THE HELL HOLE YOU ARE TRYING TO PAINT IT TO BE?)
