For prosperity, I am putting some comments up on this blog that were made on Facebook about the recent Grand Jury findings. I also am putting up where these comments come from. We are being attacked from all over, this isn't our citizens doing this.

The Grand Jury report is a joke. These people went into the shelter, probably spent about an hour or so there, and everything looked fine on the outside. If they went there posing as members of the public wanting to adopt, how would they know how many dogs are actually taken to the playgrounds for exercise, who is training the animals, how or how often, and how often the dogs are walked? I wonder how long they actually stayed and the shelter to gather this data?
This group is based in New York yet they pretend to know all about Devore. They condemn our citizens who were on the Grand Jury.
Dogs For Life Very disappointed to hearthe results of the Grand Jury. We're in NorCal, but are painfully aware of the horrendous operatons at Devore. We'll be bringing the results of the Grand Jury to the attention of our No Kill constituents. We support you.
Based in San Francisco but knows all about Devore - NOT.
Rosana Cheung Well, looks like some smells of conspiracy here.

Law school student, wonder if she is passing her courses.
Phil Eby Where is the justice?
Lyle Lanes Lyle Lanes They had to have had a heads up that this was all going on, to clean their act up! I don't buy this decision for one minute, and I will continue to fight for these animals against Devore until I'm gone!
His biggest thing on Facebook is donating blood. Wonder if he realizes all the blood that has flowed because of his allegiance to these terrorists?
This one lives in Montana yet thinks he knows it all.
These are but a few of the comments condemning the good men and women who served on the Grand Jury. We aren't being attacked by our own citizens, no, in fact San Bernardino showed the world how it supports Devore when Devore was voted 8th in the nation during the Rachael Ray Challenge.
Are we going to allow these outsiders to continue to degrade Devore when all the evidence is showing that they are completely and totally wrong? Josie tried to point this out at a Board meeting when she asked these terrorists to share where their homes are. She should be applauded for doing this but instead she is condemned by the terrorists. If the shoe were on the other foot, the terrorists would want their Board of Supervisors protecting them.
Apparently there are people from all walks of life and areas of the world that are concerned for the dogs and cats but are only interested in condemning this shelter. I think that if they are so concerned about the situation that is occurring at this shelter and are so willing to help please send a check the County of San Bernardino for their animal control program, but then please do not forget to send the same amount to all of the other shelters nationwide. I think that there are a couple billionaires in this group that can help every shelter. Maybe we can get Nathan to start writing checks instead of taking money from cities and counties that need the money to help the animals.
ReplyDeleteFunny this was posted today. Actually today the BOS voted to approve the initial presentation of the new ordinance for an Animal Control Committee. The only person who spoke in favor of this action was Patty Lopez, from Mission Viejo (note: Mission Viejo is in south Orange County, at least a 90 minute drive from San Bernardino County). None of the citizens of San Bernardino County spoke in favor of this committee. In fact they spoke in concern of how this committee would be funded. When it was told to them that, thanks to Supervisor Derry and these outside terrorist, the cost would be $12,000 a year and this would come out of the departments approved budget, the local residents did voice their concerns. Supervisor Derry said he would pay for the first year out of his district's funds.
ReplyDeleteLets see, the terrorists feel they should be on the committee for Animal Control, they manage to get a supervisor to form a committee and spend additional dollars (remember its going to be $12,000 per year that was not budgeted for and most likely will cause some things to be cut. Things like off site adoption events, shorter hours for the shelter, etc. would have to be cut to cover the additional imposed costs) immediately after the Grand Jury just reported there was nothing of concern at the shelter.
In closing, all I can say is thank god Supervisor Derry looks like he will be voted out of office in November.
Why does it cost $12,000 per year for an Animal Control Committee?
ReplyDeleteWill animal control services be cut to pay for this committee?
Or is Supervisor Derry going to cut his district's budget to pay for the committee?
