COMMUNITY STRIVES TO BREAK “FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND” PET ADOPTION RECORD

COMMUNITY STRIVES TO BREAK “FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND” PET ADOPTION RECORD
Local non-profits, agencies partner to help more pets find their
forever homes.

Hundreds of adoptable pets, low-cost vaccinations, micro chipping, and lots of
family fun will be available this Father’s Day Weekend at the first-ever Homeward
Bound Mega Pet Adoption Event!

This special two-day event brings together over fifteen (15) animal rescue
organizations and animal shelter facilities with the goal of attempting to place 250
homeless pets in new loving and caring homes. In addition, the County of San
Bernardino will be informing residents of their participation in the ASPCA Rachel
Ray $100K Challenge that will start in August 2012. Having already won the
nomination for one of fifty competing shelters in the country, the County will work
through events like the Homeward Bound Mega Pet Adoption Event to save at least
300 more animals between August 2012 and October 2012, than the same period in
2011, for a chance to win $100,000.

  1. Sounds wonderful. But lets see the activists do their magic and ruin everything. Just remember, if it doesn't benefit them and make Devore look bad, it must not be a good idea.

  2. I will be there. I just hope those ugly NKers don't show their ugly face, I know they will try to give a negative spin since that is all they know to to best.
