The new appointees were introduced:
* 1st District (Seat 1)
* Beverly Bradshaw, Esq.
* 2nd District (Seat 2)
* Christine Haro
* 3rd District (Seat 3)
* Michelle P. Guthmiller
* 4th District (Seat 4)
* Sam Gadd
* Appointed Veterinarian (Seat 6)
* Allan Drusys, DVM
* Animal Care and Control Appointee (Seat 7)
* Greg Beck
There is still one seat unfilled at the present time. The first meeting was delayed because of a lack of interest and that goes for the last seat to be filled. Doesn't that show something along the lines of we, the people, don't think there is a problem with Devore.
The activists didn't bother to show, their candidates for election were defeated, now go home, wherever that is. The very least they could have done is shown their faces since they wanted this so badly. Just goes to show, the activists have nothing, nothing to back themselves up on their accusations, and nothing to show this commission.
Wait a minute. You mean the clan from San Diego didn't carpool. The clan from Mission Viejo didn't show up.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the world coming too????
Patty, Christine, Royce, Pat, Sharon....Where were you?????
You bitch and complain, criticize and slander, then run and hide.....
Your absence speaks volumes....
Did you announce this anywhere? I never saw anything about it. Not very good "friends" is you don't tell anybody. Just goes to show, you aren't a very good friend for Devore.
ReplyDeleteDid you bother to read the link above, it plainly states the meeting date. Plus one would think that if someone were interested enough, they would make an effort to keep up.
DeleteThe first meeting of the Animal Care Community Outreach Commission is scheduled for Tuesday, June 18 at 12:30 p.m. It will be held in the auditorium at San Bernardino County’s Department of Behavioral Health located at 850 East Foothill Boulevard in Rialto.
What a "friendly" reply! One would also think that there would have been also enough effort to make this meeting to be heard .
ReplyDeleteExcuse me? I do believe your comment was a tad nasty and you get what you give.
DeleteNow, it is your responsibility to keep up. Where's your effort?
I may have misread but is there a chance for a second meeting? I'm not sure who the two groups arguing here are, but I would be interested in attending.

DeleteThe next meeting is scheduled for Friday, October 4 at 9:00 am. Public attendance is welcome at the meeting. The Commissioners I believe are excited to work with members of the general public to address the Commission’s goals.
Was referred to this blog by a supporter regarding the superior condition of the kennels in which the 'guests' live and came across this meeting update.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the tone regarding the public having to make an "effort to keep up".
Now that the above meeting has passed, some friendly questions so anyone reading this can help keep their responsibilities without needing to Google every day:
1) Where are the meeting dates posted?
2) Does the next meeting already have a date and if so, when is it?
Thanks
Government does what is prescribed by law to notify the public. It is up to the public to at least make the effort to see this information. The tone was set when comments were trying to make excuses for the irresponsible who failed to keep up.
ReplyDeleteA local paper published the announcement of the meeting and the agenda was posted on the San Bernardino website for all to see. According to the Brown Act, a notice was also posted at the meeting location. Would it take TV ads and billboards to notify people, we know how it works and it is our responsibility to look for it, not it chase us down.
